Rider Development

It’s your first day on gravel, but your dreams are to soar in the Bike Park.

Our adaptive mountain biking experts will work with you to achieve your riding goals. From optimizing your aMTB and Hand Cycle set up to learning riding fundamentals and onto our rider progression programs.

Want to get into racing? We offer high performance training as well!


What do I need to Bring?

If you require a bike rental, we have you covered! Head on over to our rentals page and we will set you up with equipment that best suits your needs.

If you are bringing your own aMTB, please make sure that your bike is in good working order. Servicing is available through Kootenay Adaptive, please pre-book this service in advance.

protection

It goes without saying, helmets are mandatory for all participants.

Sturdy footwear is recommended, as are protective eyewear and gloves.

Helmets and elbow pads are available for rent.

food & water

Take it from our past participants, bring water, as we will be making sure you are getting enough throughout the day! Bring a full water bottle or hydration pack, with snacks and lunch if you are joining us for a full day.
